I purchased this at the request of a group of high school freshmen boys after they read Lubar's initial book in the series, "Sleeping Freshmen Never Lie." As an English teacher, nothing is more inspiring than to have students ASK for another novel to read. The boys enjoyed the first book so much they could not wait to read the second one.

Great followup to "Freshmen". Liked that the main character is intelligent and strives to get better at his chosen craft of writing. Teachers are multi-dimensional, not caricatures. This book was funny and fun to ready, even for my son who hates reading.

Bought this for my teen son. A comical view of high school. My son related to the book and enjoyed both versions of the book. My son thinks it was a great read for him right now being a freshman in high school

I loved the first book and this book was just as good if not better than the first one if you haven't picked it up already you need to and read every breath taking moment for your self.

Wow this is the real deal. I’m more than half way through the book and there are a ton of tips, chakra facts, yoga poses and other insights.

At first glance inside, this chakra healing book is lame. There are NO illustrations nor colors used whatsoever! Although it uses VERY large print to make reading easier, I find the organization and translation of actual content lacking any positive flow.

In the beginning,it was a simple and easy read covering the basics of chakras and whatnot. Later, it picked up the pace and introduced new concepts such as auras, yoga poses and various other healing methods.It was intense and very helpful.

This is a great book for those who knew very little and want to learn about chakras (that would be me). It's extremely straightforward and well thought out.

Easy read. Thankfully all the heavy lifting has been done by the author so you can just sit back and digest the content.

It's a great introduction for beginners. Many useful tips are presented for identifying chakra blocked and other issues.

Easy read for the beginner or curious mind. I would recommend it for others to read. I especially liked the bonus chapter.

Daniel J. Velleman is Julian H. Gibbs '46 Professor of Mathematics, Emeritus at Amherst College, and was a professor at Amherst College from 1983 to 2017. He received his B.A. from Dartmouth College in 1976, and his Ph.D. from the University of Wisconsin, Madison in 1980. His other books include Which Way Did the Bicycle Go? (with Stan Wagon and Joe Konhauser, 1996), Philosophies of Mathematics (with Alexander George, 2002), and Calculus: A Rigorous First Course (2016). Among his awards and distinctions are the Chauvenet Prize, the Paul R. Halmos-Lester R. Ford Award, the Carl B. Allendoerfer Award, and the Chandler Davis Prize for Expository Excellence. He was Editor of Dolciani Mathematical Expositions from 1999 to 2004 and the American Mathematical Monthly from 2007 to 2011.
