I purchased this map and a German map (ordered online from Germany, not from Amazon, where we did not find it) to complement each other for a 2015 motorcycle trip in Morocco. Both of these maps were recommended by Chris Scott in his book, Morocco Overland. He is ~the~ authority in English for motorcycle/quad adventures in Morocco and the Sahara.Each map has its pros and cons, which is why I bought both and I would say you need at least both. (We also downloaded GPS maps to our GPS for use on the road.) This one was useful for planning. We taped it to a wall in our home and used it to map out our potential routes. It was ideal for this because we could see the entire country within a single (very large) page. I can't speak to the exact precision of the roads for either map, but they were both OK. While the large size is great for planning, it was less than ideal for use on the road. Similarly, the thin paper it's made of means you have to treat it very delicately -- not ideal when you're stopped by the side of a dirt road or sitting at a tiny table in a crowded cafe trying to confirm the next leg of your route.For that, we relied on the German map - it is made of a plastic-like material (not laminated) and smaller, so was easier to whip out on the go and look at routes and we didn't have to worry about babying it when we opened it up. The BIG drawback of the German map, is that you have to keep flipping it over, especially if you're traveling in the Atlas Mountains in the middle of the country, (which is one of the primary destinations for motorcyclists there :) ). So that was annoying.That said, we were glad to have both maps with us on our journey and they were quite reliable. For those driving there, GPS maps are also indispensable.
I consulted this map frequently when I was in Morocco for two weeks. Excellent product.
Michelin ks the best brand of road maps in my humble opinion. I m planning a trip to this scenic north african country and the map really helps me plan my itinerary.
Woefully lacking in city driving help. I believe we could have done as well with Google maps as the Michelin was only really useful for broad route planning which Google does quite well.
