The book is small, testimony to its conciseness, since it shares very useful and helpful information. Information that I found useful even as an experienced journalist. I especially enjoyed the portion dealing with journalese. Most journalists would learn from and benefit by reading this book, since journalese is everywhere.Looking back on my work in the light of this book's counsel, I was able to recognize mistakes I had made that had weakened my reporting. I have started implementing Mr. Cappon's advice in my work and see a marked improvement.

I love this book! As a working journalist for some national newspapers the sentiment here reminded me of what my editors told me when I started out.
